I rushed these a bit, not my normal perfection I must admit, but I think they look pretty enough. Sadly the shops where my parents live had a distinct lack of cake decorations so I opted for cherries instead.

I used Betty Crocker vanilla frosting and coloured it with icing colourings. I think gel ones would be better for bright colours, must buy some of those.
