Savoury muffins and flower mini sponges

I’ve been trying to find a good savoury muffin recipe for ages and finally found on courtesy of Delia Online. I used her recipe for the muffin mix but changed the ingredients and used bacon lardons, white onion, sage and cheddar. I think it would have benefitted from using parmagiano instead, but they are very delicious. Make sure you grease your pan well as they stick!

Then I baked some flower cakes using my Pampered Chef Silicone Floral Cupcake Pan and cut the tops off and spread a little apricot jam inbetween. Then I sprinkled the tops with icing sugar. They make delicious little sweet treats!
